1. the difference between the limit of x=c and plugging in x=c is that, taking the limit of something is when the point is being approached from the negative and positive ends, and there may be many different answers. But plugging in x=c you have one exact answer for the function.
2. the similarity of finding the derivative and the slope of a line is that you are really finding the slope of a line on both. the derivative is finding a slope of a curve but to do that you need to find the slope of the tangent line for the function. the difference is that for the derivative you are actually finding the slope of a curve.

Limits
I didnt really understand the limits of sinx and cosx and how you get there answers. but i do understand that when you have x approaching any number that you plug it in . also i really dont understand the limits of tangent and how to find an interval. Im also having trouble of the continuity .
Colleges
3 Majors.
3 colleges:i Dont know what college i would like to attend but i have visited 2 or 3 at the most and would like to visit the campus on other colleges to see what i can also learn in those colleges.
- Design and Applied Arts:
this major i would like to take because i like drawing cartoons and anything else when i am bored so i would like to take this to learn more abt art. - Business: i dont know what exactly i would like to learn in the business category but i would want to learn more abt management, real estate, and more .
- Engineering: in mechanical engineering i can learn about the machines that bring convenience and excitement to our lives. i want to study the physics that make roller coasters loop and planes fly. They learn about the properties of materials that can withstand the heat of the sun and the cold of outer space. And they discover the secrets behind control systems such as the cruise control in the family car.

transormations: what i member abt the transformations is that when you have f(x)= x^2+1 it means thatt you have to shift the function 1 up.
Trig is mostly all abt using and understanding the unit circlee, if you do not know it then trig can become hard.
what i dont understand is how to do tranformations tha good on sec csc etc , also i dont understand how to graph the functions and their domain and range.

Logs and Inverses
one concept i learned was how to solve for the inverse. By solving an inverse all you do is switch the x and y so that the for the equation you solve for y.
another thing i learned was to solve certain logarithms because of the story ms. hwong told us. for example, log base 2 of x-5=2 you move the base 2 to other side making it x-5=2^2 which equals 4 then you solve for x and you get x=9
i also learned that when you use a horizontal line test and the function does not pass then the inverse wont pass the vertical line test therefore the function is not one-to-one.
i learned that the natural log is log base of 10 and when the log dont have a base it has the base of 10.
What i dont understand is how to graph logs?
Also i dont understand how to solve natural logs and e??

Even && Odd !! =]
Even: When a function is even the equation is f(-x))=f(x), which means that the function is symmetrical on the y-axis. When this function is graphed it is going to a reflection on the y-axis from quadrant 1 to quadrant 2.
Odd: the equation to find out if the function is odd is f(-x))=-f(x). This means that the function will be graphed symmetrical to the origin. When this function is graphed it is going to be reflected over the y-axis and then the x-axis leaving the function on quadrant 3 if the normal function is in quadrant 1.

About Me.
Hey my name is Danilo De Leon, I'm 16 and my birthday is on September first 1993.
I play basketball and football as my favorite sports. My hobbies are to sleep, play video games, and go out with friends when my parents let me go and they have money to give me. I'm a shy person at first but when you get to know me i wont care what you really think of me. I can be irritating at times, and if you treat me with out respect i can be disrespectful to you also.
